The youngest player ranked in the ISDA top-eightcurrently in his third season as Clive Leach’s partner has reached sevenISDA finals spread out over the past four seasons, namely Cleveland ’08 withPreston Quick and Sea Island ’08, Boston ’09 and the ’09 Briggs Cup and ’10Kellner Cup with Leach prior to this past autumn, during which Jensonadvanced to the Big Apple Open final with Leach and the Cambridge Club finalwith Quick, where they lost a 15-12 fifth game to John Russell and ViktorBerg. Three years ago, Jenson teamed with his older brother Dan, a PSAtop-five during the early 2000’s, to win the U. S. National SiblingChampionship, held that year in Sea Island, where Jenson would subsequentlyland the head pro job before moving first to the Olympic Club in SanFrancisco and then, this past summer, to his current base in South Carolina.He and Leach were the only team last season other than Russell/Quick todefeat both the Paul Price/Ben Gould and the Berg/Damien Mudge juggernautsthat dominated the 2009-10 tour, and each of those wins (in theseason-opening Briggs Cup and the season-ending Kellner Cup) came indecisive 3-0 fashion.
