Willie Hosey is one of the true gentlemen on the ISDA tour. As the oldest full time player on the circuit, Willie is the sentimental crowd favourite at almost every event. Still blessed with speed and quick hands and a great sense of how the game of doubles should be played, Willie is always a threat no matter who the opponent. Over the years, Willie has remained a model of consistency usually being ranked as the #2 team with almost every player he has partnered with including Jamie Bentley, Viktor Berg, Clive Leach and Blair Horler. The 10 time Irish National champion made a smooth transition to doubles, culminating in the winning the World Doubles Championship in 2000.
