A formidable ISDA tour fixture throughout the decade of the 2000’s, this former PSA top-30 has reached two or more finals during each of the past nine years, his 2009-10 pair having already occurred when he partnered Matt Jenson to the season-opening Briggs Cup final and did the same with Chris Walker in Toronto several weeks later. There are no fewer than eight players (namely Blair Horler, Willie Hosey, Michael Pirnak, Preston Quick and Scott Butcher in addition to Walker and Jenson) who have teamed with Leach to advance to an ISDA final. All told, this paragon of graceful court movement and creatively lethal shot-making has 22 final-round appearances and six tour titles (three with Horler, including the ’03 Kellner Cup; two with Walker, with whom Leach briefly held the No. 1 team ranking in autumn ’07; and one with Hosey) to his credit. Now 37 and with several prime years still ahead of him, this soccer and tennis enthusiast is based at the New York Athletic Club and lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and young daughter.
