RYE: After their victory at the Briggs Cup, Rob Dinerman boldly stated that Paul Price and Ben Gould "...clearly confirmed that they had firmly displaced Gary Waite and Damien Mudge as the best doubles team in the game." After seven events on the ISDA calendar, it would be hard to argue with that assessment. Gould and Price capped off their fifth win of the season with a decisive 3-1 win in the finals, marking their third straight victory in the finals over Waite and Mudge. While the Aussie's won the tournament, kudos to Willie Hosey and Jamie Bentley for turning the clock back in their 3-1 win over Preston QUick and Chris Walker in the quarters. Best wishes also to Eric Vlcek, who suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his first round match.
