This lean but lethal Australian native and former PSAtop-50, whose five tournament victories in 2009-10 were tops on the tour,has already equaled that total this season after he and new partner andformer fierce rival Damien Mudge went undefeated this past autumn. Inrelentlessly advancing to the winner’s circle in Baltimore, St. Louis (wherein their only close call so far they rallied from 1-2, 11-14 against JohnRussell and Preston Quick in the semis), New York, Vancouver andPhiladelphia, Gould and his contemporaneous (only six months older)Australian compatriot Mudge have gone 15-0 and sent an intimidating messageof how difficult they will be to defeat as the current campaign moves intothe winter months. His quintet of fall 2010 titles with Mudge has boostedGould’s career ISDA total to 31, a tally that includes the 22 that he wonwith Paul Price during their four years (2006-07 through last season) ofpartnership, as well as three with Quick during the 2005-06 season and the2009 Cambridge Club Doubles event that he won with Michael Pirnak.
