Imran comes from the Great Khan’s family and grew up watching and learning from the best squash players in the world. He was ranked as high as 7 in Pakistan before moving to the US in 2001 to compete on the North American singles tour. Nigel Thain and Tom Harrity were his first coaches/partners who taught him hardball doubles and took his game to the next level. In 2009, Imran joined the ISDA and reached 3 challenger event finals with 3 different partners (Tom Harrity, Nigel Thain and Greg Park). He won his first ISDA event with Greg Park last march at the Germantown Challenger event. He also won the Jimmy Dunn tournament at the Racquet Club of Philadelphia and the Gold Racquets Invitational Tournament with partner Rich Sheppard in 2009. In his singles career, he won the U-25 US Nationals title in 2005 and the William White invitational tournament 5 years in a row (2002-06) in Philadelphia.
