Currently assistant pro to Damien Mudge at the University Club in New York, Carl is a product of Canadian squash.  While growing up in Toronto and rising in the junior ranks some of his notable achievements were a gold and bronze medal in both the 1993 Ontario and  1995 Canada Winter Games respectively and a 7th place finish in the 1998 Canadian Junior championships.  .  He is also a recipient of the 1998 Alex Doucas Memorial, an award given to the Canadian junior player who best exemplifies fair play and commitment to excellence in squash.  While attending Trinity College in Hartford, CT from 1999-2003 he was a member of the national championship team for all four years.  An avid sports enthusiast he is also an accomplished cross-country distance and track runner and nordic skiier.  In his free time he enjoys watching movies on his Netflix subscription, cooking and New York nightlife.
