This Netherlands product and current Rye Country Day boys varsity squash coach played for a number of years in the tough Dutch league representing the Allinn Club, which in 1999 won the Dutch Cup emblematic of the national team championship. Shortly thereafter he moved to the United States, first as a coach in American superstar Mark Talbott’s summer-squash-camps in Rhode Island, then at Piping Rock in Long Island before becoming one of Peter Briggs’s most active assistant pros throughout the mid-2000’s at the Apawamis Club. Equally comfortable on either wall, he has combined with several different partners in successful forays through the qualifying rounds of ISDA events. Shortly after earning a real estate license a few years ago, he played a role on behalf of U. S. SQUASH in helping that organization secure its current office space in mid-town Manhattan.
