This past autumn has contained several career highlights for this sharp-shooting Westchester Country Club pro, who paired with Australian compatriot Raj Nanda first to reach the Briggs Cup quarters (by virtue of their first-round win over Eric Vlcek and Yvain Badan) and then, in mid-November, to annex the St. Louis Challenger tourney when they completed their no-games-lost march through the draw by rising superior to Imran Khan and Tom Harrity in a convincing final. Prior to those exploits, Price’s best result in his three-years on the ISDA scene had occurred in Vancouver in December ’07, when he and Joe Pentland, Price’s frequent partner over the past few years, had soundly defeated Gary Waite and Jeff Mulligan to reach the semis in Vancouver before losing to Price’s brother Paul and Ben Gould. That match-up represented not only the first-ever ISDA semifinal advance for either Mark Price or Pentland, but also the first time in ISDA history that a pair of brothers had opposed each other as late as the semifinal stage.
